The
Spring Trophy Season begins the third Saturday in April and goes to
May 15. You are
allowed one Striped Bass (aka - Rockfish or Stripers) over 28” and it is not
uncommon to catch fish over 40” during this season. During the Summer and Fall Seasons you are allowed two Striped Bass over 18” per person. You can also catch Black Drum (late May to early June), Spot, Croakers, Sea Trout, Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish - and whatever else shows up. Big Striped Bass can also be caught in late October through November. Captain Russ and crew tag and release fish for the American Littoral Society.
